Chalisa attended Empire Beauty School and continues to refine her skills, studying the most cutting-edge techniques from top stylists around the globe and learning from her peers right here at Denny Kemp Salon.

“Growing up hair was very important in my family, lots of my family members went to beauty school, so you could say it’s in my DNA. While attending college to be a real estate broker, I realized sitting behind a desk wasn’t me, so I dropped out and went to beauty school a week later. Being a stylist is hard work but, I’m passionate about it and love what I do!”
